1 quote 10 images. The assignment was to find 10 images that match with a quote that you like. I chose the quote "the most beautiful sound in the world is silence" by Robert Smythe Hichens. The concept was to make it a 'silent' book so I chose to silkscreen it on fabric.

Twin flipbooks made in reaction of a bizarre news article about two identical twins that were seperated because of an experiment. After 35 years they got reunited. Each book shows the life of one of the twins. At the end the two books become one.

Willem de Kooning + Willem de Kooning Academy exhibition poster series. The concept of the posters was to create typography from elements of the original subject. For the Willem de Kooning poster I made painted letters to match the original painting in the background of the poster. The poster made for the academy shows letters that I have collected from other graphic designers in the academy, since this is a poster about themselves.

This poster is about chaos, making choises, and movement. In the poster I've incorporated elements from op-art and also icons from the popular culture since they influence me in my every day work.

We had to choose a favourite at the Willem de Kooning academy graduation exhibition and make a new poster for our favourite's personal exhibition. I chose graphic designer Meinhard Spoor's work as my favourite. He made a poster series about 'hyperreality'. I continued with the same idea and made it look like someone is coming out of the poster to write down the announcement to the exhibition.

Poster made in reaction of the documentary Unser Täglich Brot (Our Daily Bread) by Nikolaus Geyrhalter about our daily consumption.
The poster is made in the style of the credit titles at the ending of movies. Besides the humans that we see in the documentary I also included the animals that were killed in the documentary.
